Lir a Bit Longer
The bus stop; countless people ride the bus every day in every corner of the world. Some heading to work, some out of desperation, and others just looking for a change of scenery. People from all walks of life, find their way into the lives of others, just by sitting next to a stranger.
Even when you weren’t looking for anything, you might just find yourself somewhere you needed to be all along.
Mac stepped out of the rain, his long oiled leather coat dripping dry as quick as he could shake it out. The little shack out front of the station empty but for him, the ocean storm keeping the sane indoors.
He had just been down at the pier having lunch with his brothers and sisters like they did every year, this year no less stressful than ever before. He loved his family, but he didn't like that they only met like this for the anniversary of their father's death seemed the only thing. Voices high, the restaurant had rung like a struck bell from their ruckus jovial banter. He loved his family and it was a pity he saw them so infrequently, but it was what it was.
Three hours of that though and he remembered they were just too much.
As the de facto head of the family, it fell to him to keep them in check, so he did what he could.
He looked out from under the eaves of the bus shack, barely able to see even the ocean for the curtain of rain.
He took out his pocket watch and checked the time; hours still till his bus would even arrive at the station.
He sighed and leaned back against the wall pulling back his hood and took a moment to tie up his long raven hair back in a thick scrunchy. He lamented as he did, his wingtips showing more silver by the year, getting older had its drawbacks. But he was thankful it seemed to suit him according to his family.
As he finished filtering with his hair, he stared out into the storm, following a little dot of a shadow moving through the gloam.
He set down his old guitar case and slid it behind the seat at the back of the shack and watched as the shadow materialized into a young woman running from cover to cover getting closer.
She leaned back against the wall of the bus station's main building, she seemed to be breathing heavily, obviously having run through the rain to the same spot. She tried the door, but it didn't budge, then turned and peered out and must have seen the shack. She darted between the raindrops like a bolt and into the shack practically skidding to a stop.
Her clothes were soaked right through a suit jacket hanging from her clenched hand obviously having failed as her umbrella. She wore only a white button-up shirt that was more than a little see-through, the light silky white fabric clinging to her slender frame revealing with no reservations the fact she wore no bra. Her black skirt had ridden up as she run and she tugged her garters and straightened them as she began to right herself, dropping her heels to the ground to slip them on with a squelch.
The sound made her giggle, a musical tone that made him laugh in turn too, only to bring her gaze back up to him.
"Funny is it?" She verbally jabbed.
He made a point of looking anywhere else than at her.
She took the sodden footwear off and hung them by the heel from the little overhead bar above her, then stretched up to hang her coat there off her shoes too.
Mac couldn't help but stare, her muscles bunching across her back reminded him of an archer's build, deceptively petite he could see the ropey muscles stretch as she did.
She turned quickly and saw him and nodded still, "Hey guy," she said giving him a little wave. "You just walked up from the diner down there too?"
Mac waved back at her, "Uh, yeah." He tried to keep eye contact, his blush so overpowering; seeing this cute little woman in her business clothes he couldn't muster much more.
She made no move to hide her body, quite the opposite, she only untied her tie and wrapped it slowly around her knuckles squeezing it to free droplets of water to patter to the ground. She then moved on to fiddle with the buttons of her top undoing a few while she plucked at the sodden material.
"Almost swear you knew it would rain, wasn't supposed to though, yet that coat looks like you could make a raft out of it."
He tried not to stare, but with her eyes down on herself he couldn't help but leer a bit at her.
"I, uh, it's just my favourite coat."
She stopped suddenly and looked up at him again with a little smile.
"I'm Makenzie," she stuck her hand out.
"Uh, hi," he blinked, not used to people being so forward, but put his hand out too, "I-I'm, uh, Mac."
"Seriously? Mac, and Mac? Well slap a patty on me, and add the sauce. So, Big Mac, where you headed?"
He didn't know what to do, he was so used to people just walking past him, or avoiding him. He was an intimidating man, sour-faced on the best day. His own sister said he could cut rock with his happy glare. He didn't want to be rude, he also didn't want to avoid her either. It wasn't like the tiny alcove they shared out of the rain was going to give them much space apart, barely wide enough for him to stand as it was.
"Uh, I'm, uh, I'm heading home."
She nodded, "That so," then stretched again suddenly with a happy sigh. "Good a time as any with this storm." His damnable eyes were glued to her movements, following the gentle curve of her backward arch as her arms came above her head, her soft-looking chest squished tight under her dropping wet top. She locked eyes with him then, "At least it's warm."
He barely registered what she said though as her pierced nipples pulled tight against her white top, all he could do was think about the intricate detail of linework that made the ends of the little barbells that hugged her peaks.
His smart tongue almost slipping to comment on - how warm could it be if her nipples were that hard - but instead he felt trapped by her eyes.
More than a little distracting he finally just turned and looked out into the rain and mumbled an incoherent agreement.
"Coming hard today," she goaded, her tone clear again that she knew how it sounded. She reached out and slapped him then, giving a heavy snort of laughter. "Phrasing, right? Ha! I mean, look at me!"
It was like a command and he did as she said.
His eyes pulled like a moth to that oh-so-tantalizing flame.
Her devil's grin only growing as she watched him squirm, "I mean, I'm soaked wet as the waves."
He stammered again as his eyes met hers, "I-I-I Had, uh… I hadn't noticed."
His eyes flicked down to her chest, and back to her huge orange-green eyes.
"Oh really," she said musingly.
She lunged with a viper's grace, grabbing his collar and pulling him to eye level, his reaction almost to reach for his case as a means to fend her off. But all she did was hold him bent over at an awkward angle.
Till she spoke.
"Then; what colour's my hair?"
His eyes flickered up, but from the angle she had him at he could not for the life of him see her hair. Slicked back and dark he could guess, but in his panic, his mind went blank and his lecherous tongue tumbled from numb lips free at last.
"If you pull me over any further I won't have to look at your head to find out."
His eyes flickered down just below where she had him. Her foot up on the bench, his head by her waist, an inch further and he'd be finding out if her underwear matched her bra.
While many a woman may have punched a man for such a remark, or worse, this young whip of a lass just grinned. She freed his collar and he stood up, and the first thing he did was to note her light blonde hair with faint highlights.
She leaned back against the wall and looked him up and down.
"What's your deal?"
He righted his collar and mumbled, but apparently it wasn't good enough for her.
"Now, now, speak up. I can't hear you way up there Silver Fox."
He scowled, not liking her tone.
"My name is Mac remember, Mac Lir, not big Mac, not silver fox, just Mac. And as to my deal, I'm just waiting for my bus," he said with a harumph.
"You married Mac?" She asked, disregarding the rest of what he had said, it seemed completely.
"What, no, why-?"
"Single then?"
"You're not very tactful."
She calmly reached down and tugged her stocking up and tightened her garter, still watching him the whole time.
"But, I'm very friendly."
She slowly put her foot down and proceeded to set her other foot up and daintily adjusted her other garter.
He had a hard time not watching, so he turned, looking out at the rain, but turned though he was still caught her in the act from the corner of his eye.
She looked very nonplussed despite it all though.
"What's up? Why are you looking at me like that Mor-uh-miss?"
"Makenzie, or do you not remember?"
He had of course caught it, her comment of Mac and Mac, but he just turned back to the rain feeling rather harassed now.
"So, you really don't remember me?"
"Should I?" He asked, not turning.
She put her foot down and pet her coat so that he looked up at where a little nametag in the shape of a lobster on a plate winked back at him.
"I guess not. I work at the diner there," she slipped her little clutch from under her arm and into her sleeve then leaned back against the wall. "You kept one of your brothers from getting handsy with one of my cousins in there tonight, so I wanted to thank you by comping your meal. But-"
"I was paying for everyone," he chuckled.
"Yup," she nodded, then stepped in close, "But it's not just that."
He was confused, and she saw it.
"You came here last year too," she crossed her arms under her chest, not a heavy chest, yet she made good use of it as she did. His eyes still refusing to heed him, following her closely. Her slender arms pushed her chest up so that again he was caught in a glance. Her smile said she knew she had him. "You see, I remember you from last year too, you did the same thing then too, only, it was me you saved. And just like then, you showed up every person as a true man's man, tipping everyone."
He shrugged, "What, it was a forty-five-person party, the alcohol alone was probably more than that."
"You tipped everyone," She was still inching closer, even now she took another step, "You tipped us all a thousand dollars, everyone, even me. I wasn't even on your table this time, I was hosting."
He had never felt so intimidated by such a waifish creature.
She smirked, "I told myself back then if I ever saw you again that I'd find a way to thank you."
He tried to step back but Mac suddenly found himself pressed up against the wall of the shack.
"I-Is that so, w-why's that?" He stammered.
She reached out and put her hand on his chest, looking up at him from under a veil of eyelashes that could not have given her a more doe-eyed smokey look had she literally been a deity bent on giving men lustful thoughts.
He took her by her wrist then and tried to give space between them, "Look, if you want some-"
But with a smirk, she put her knee between his and using his own attempt to move her pushed him aside to fall onto the bench.
"You misunderstand me here, Mac," she knelt on the seat over him, kneeling between his thighs, "I don't want more from you." She smiled another wicked grin, quick and poignant, "Not money. That restaurant is my grandmother's see, was. Most of us who work there are family, those tips kept the doors open when things were tight after she passed. And now you show up and do it again, and just like last year you disappear mid-dessert to pay and off into the night you walk to catch a bus?" She got close then, really, really close, "Who are you? Really?"
He had no idea what possessed him then, the smell of her light lilac perfume, the fresh rain, the way her lips hovered in front of him. He took her cheek in his hands and pulled her into a deep kiss, her tongue parting his lips instantly to caress his. Her arms wrapped around his neck and held him close as she kissed him back, little breaths between sweet moans as their lips met again and again.
She tore back his coat and pushed toward him knee riding up between his legs so he was forced to sit up or be crushed. She took the opportunity to climb him, her wet clothes squishing against him soaking through his button-up shirt.
He pulled back and tried to stop, "Wait, I'm not from here."
"Good," she grabbed him and kissed him again.
He turned aside as she tried again to kiss him, "I'm older than your father!"
She bit into his neck making a shiver run up the back of his head as she growled in his ear, "Never knew mine. But I could call you Daddy then?"
She reached down and took great pleasure in drawing sharp manicured nails up his inner thigh.
"This is wrong, I didn't tip you, to seduce you!"
She suddenly grabbed his jaw, one finger sliding into the corner of his mouth like a hook as she roughly dragged him to face her.
"I don't want your money Mac, I just want to thank you."
He didn't know what to say, then she made the need for words fade away.
She stood up over him, taking a wide stance so her feet were on the outside of his knees where he sat, then knelt down, her thighs riding up against his hips. She then slowly finished the job she had started by unbuttoning her top all the way, tugging the bottom free from her skirt as she undid the buttons. She opened her top for him to marvel face to chest, then with her supple mounds in his face, she hugged him close.
"I-I-"
"Sshh," she whispered as she kissed his ear, petting his head, "Just enjoy this."
She reached down and started to caress him playfully through his pant leg, then stopped, pulling back to look at him.
"Wait," she looked down at his thigh where she teased, then back up at him with a manic glint in her eye. "Is?" she stroked the length of his manhood and he twitched as she did. She stroked up and down the length of him through his pant leg. "Oh, boy, and here I thought you were just tall."
He felt hot all over leaning against her to kiss the smooth expanse of her damp chest.
She shoved him back and snorted a heavy laugh. "Oh, my god."
"What?"
She pulled him off of her chuckling still, "Hold on. Is this why your one brother kept calling you Tripod?"
He laughed out loud and had to grab her hips to keep from accidentally knocking her off him.
"Yeah, uh, not something that comes up often, but, yeah. My nickname used to be Three-leg."
She gave him another stroke and then seemed to look down and take a measure of herself. Then back up at him, "Might be a tight fit Mac, but I look forward to the challenge."
Lust addled as he was, he still looked around at the world outside the bus shack. The heavy rain still fell, and it was late at night, but they were still in plain view of the world.
"What if someone sees us?"
She leaned in and nibbled his ear less than gently, "Then we charge admission to see the three-legged man fuck me silly."
He laughed, but she was already teasing his belt loose, kissing and biting his neck.
He grabbed her elbows and she wiggled her hips and as she tugged him free of his denim constraints he felt that indeed she had worn a matching set of lingerie.
"Naughty girl," he purred nipping at her throat and pulling her in close, "Do you just walk around wearing no panties all the time?"
She made a little growling sound and tipped her head back as she began to rock her hips and slid along the length of him.
"No, I'm actually very prudish," she squeezed her thighs tight around his shaft rocking against him. "But after watching you laugh and play with your nieces and nephews, and how sweet you were with everyone. Well, I was so wet they were sticking to me, and I just had to take them off."
He leaned in and wrapped his tongue around her right nipple till she moaned and squirmed.
"And the bra?"
"Okay, well, that-" She hissed as he switched and teased her left nipple next. "-That's just cause I like the way the bells feel against my blouse." She grabbed his face then, and made him look at her, "But honest, I'm not like this. I usually prefer women."
He was hard as a rock now, but the thought of her with a woman made it all the better. How wet she was for him right now, her thighs wrapping around his cock, leaving him slick and slippery as she reached down to tease herself sliding along the length of his shaft.
"I'm so wet," Makenzie purred.
"I can tell," he reached down and stroked her clit with his thumb playfully.
"Want to try going further?" She whispered to him.
He nodded and hugged her, slowly pulling her down into his lap. She kissed him and winced a little with a hiss and she leaned back as his spear parted her petals and slowly delved into her.
She hissed a little more, but grabbing at his shirt as she eased onto him with a deep guttural moan she relaxed little by little.
"God, that fills you up," she chuckled through gritted teeth.
He could barely reply, it felt like an eternity since he had had sex, to find himself being swallowed by a pussy this tight he thought he may black out from the pleasure.
But he held it together just to see her face.
Teeth clenched, she still smiled and moaned as she would pull back only to draw down on him further. One stroke back, two strokes harder, she took more of him with every deep breathy sigh.
Held at arm's length he let his hands stroke up her bare tummy feeling her muscles clench and relax as she began to buck a little faster, watching his member disappear a bit more beneath her skirt each time.
His palms stroked across her breasts and he squeezed until her already erect pierced nipples began to puff up. He felt mesmerized by it, her flesh changing so subtly under his touch.
"EEP!" A sudden sharp sound suddenly squeaked up from her and even she let go of him to cover her mouth. "Sorry, I just-"
He gave her no mercy.
Clear as it was he took her nipple between his fingers and squeezed making her fall back and squeak again. That high musical note urged him on and he took hold of her other nipple too and tweaked them both, slowly, and firmly.
She cried out and shoved almost her whole hand in her mouth, but he wasn't done hearing her voice escape in such a sweet sound.
With one hand he took hold of her hers and pulled it back behind her and brought her in biting down playfully on her thought to be free nipple. Twisting the little barbells between his lips while still teasing the other between thumb and forefinger.
She cried out again and again and fell further and harder onto his erection with each convulsion.
She was in a fit now, "No more! Please! My nip-"
He twirled his tongue, flicking the metal to clink against his teeth. He then pulled her back so she laid back almost to his knees, her hips almost one with him now, legs wrapped around his sides.
"You were the one who wanted to tease me, young lady," he chuckled mirthlessly. He then flicked her sensitive nipple gently. "Regrets?"
She smiled and squeezed her knees so he felt her muscles flex, her pussy wrapped around him seemed to shrink as she brought her knees up and leaned forward.
"Oh no Mac, none. That's why I'm going to wring you dry," she clawed down his chest, pulling his shirt so hard he lost several buttons in the deed.
She grabbed at him and pulled herself up from his lap, his slick member pulling free with a wet pop. Then, turning around, and taking him in her hands, she sat back into his lap and sheathed him almost to the hilt in one slow push that left him nearly panting and her growling like an animal.
"Oh god, you feel so good!"
He grabbed at her shoulders, her hair too short to do much more than rake his fingers through it, hands sliding down her neck to her back to clutch at last at her hips as she bore down on him with deep forceful thrusts.
"You're so tight."
He pulled her down into his lap hard making her practically bark.
"Harder Mac, fuck me harder!"
He grabbed her hips and thrust as she sat back and did as he was bid, giving her everything he had.
Every inch of him thrust up into her, feeling the curve of her back as he slid into her again, and again.
"I'm so close Mac! Fuck, I'm so close."
"Me too! I-"
"Inside me!"
He almost swore he misheard her but as she rode him she grabbed his knees and seemed to lock onto him. Her legs came up on the bench in a way that would have made a gymnast blush.
"But-"
"Don't you dare pull out! Fill me up!"
Her ankles wrapped tight behind him and she rocked her hips around and around, not giving up an inch of his cock from inside her.
The swirling pressure too much for any man, let alone one who had lived a solitary life as he did. So it was he could not hold back, and with a roar of pleasure combined, he felt her body convulse as he came too.
Like hot magma, he erupted within her and she cried out in time to the crack of thunder as the rainy night sky suddenly shook with waves of lightning. Bursts of electricity showered down on the lot as lights exploded in the streets and they were cast into darkness.
She screamed and he jumped and together they fell to the ground in a heap of arms and legs and sweaty bodies. Him still cumming inside her as she swore and grasped at him screaming in throws of passion.
Soon though the torrent ceased, his mind cleared, and her convulsions lessened. Seemingly tied the thunder calmed too and the rain's song returned, and they sat there on the concrete and started laughing at each other.
He tried to stand first but barely made it to the bench before he collapsed.
"That was-"
"Whew, right. Dam, Tripod."
He pulled her into his arms so that she was laying back against his chest. He then pulled his coat over them and hugged her tight, then he grabbed her tit and squeezed her nipple so she squeaked, sending a shivering convulsion through her whole body again.
"Don't call me that."
Her head rolled back on his shoulder.
"Yes Daddy," she whispered.
He felt a stirring in his loins and kissed her cheek.
"Just Mac will do." He looked down at her sternly, but she looked up at him with a petulant glare, so he added, "Young lady."
"Oh yes, oh, I like that. Now pat my head and tell me how good I was."
"You're awful," he laughed, but he did as she asked and pet her anyway, and she in turn pressed up against his hand.
"Besides," she said, "After that, you need, like, a title. That was the best sex ever. I mean, wildest fantasies," she waved one hand like a bird flying off. "I mean, I fantasized about you last time you visited for months, this, this was something I will never forget."
He cringed knowing she may rather. But then, if she hadn't before?
"I, well, I can't stay, but-"
She again drove her finger into his mouth like he was a cod fish.
"None of that. I'm not looking for a thing, I just wanted you, let me keep that?"
He nodded and she let him go.
"Thanks, Makenzie, truly, I will remember this."
She turned in his lap to snuggle up against his chest, "Besides. There's always next year, right?"
He nodded, "If you think you'd like that, I'd like it too."
She poked him absently, "You better." Then she looked up into his face and grinned a sly grin. "Your eyes are so pretty, they almost look like they're-"
He pulled his coat in front of her face and back down, a quick trick of old magics. When he looked into her eyes again they swirled as if they were filled with mists, and he leaned into her ear and whispered.
"You didn't see anything in my eyes, only a happy twinkle and my feelings."
She nodded and suddenly the mists lifted from her eyes and he looked elsewhere, shame for having to lie to her about who he really was, but even just being with her was taboo.
Gods weren't allowed to meddle with mortals anymore, and if it was made out to be his plot he could be banished from the Edge, he sighed, then who would protect his family?
He kissed her and looked up at the street lights as a flicker brought them humming to life as power returned. Even above them, a humming fluorescent bulb sent a twinkle of shimmering light down on their sweat-slicked bodies.
"It's so late, how will you get home?"
"Why," she said with a sly grin, "Are you looking for a nightcap?"
"Oh how I wish I could," he sighed and sat up, "I can't miss my bus. It's, uh, complicated."
Makenzie nodded, but she didn't look away fast enough to hide the disappointment on her face.
On shaky legs, she climbed up his body practically sitting on his shoulder just to make it onto the bench. She didn't bother to pull down her skirt, just fingered herself to show him his mess.
"Good thing it's a safe day for me."
Then she took a moment to adjust her garters one final time and retrieve her shirt which had at some point fallen to the floor and dried not a bit.
She smiled at him and leaned over to kiss him again, slow and sweet her tongue teasing his into a gentle dance.
"Even if I get sick, this was well worth it. Hell yeah!" She shouted suddenly. "Sex in a bus shack, fuck! This is the craziest thing I have ever done," she kissed him again. "How will we top it next year, Daddy?"
"Something tells me, young lady, we will find a way."
She grabbed her shoes and coat from the handlebar and drew it up over her head.
"Have a safe trip Mac Lir," and with a little blown kiss, she ran off, though this time she barely felt the rain.
Then it dawned on him.
Mac parted the storms as she ran, only a bare mist trickling down.
"What's your last name?!"
But she was already gone, back through the parking lot, down the road, and across to the stairs that led down to the pier. Never turning back.
He rose and gathered his coat, pulling up his jeans and buttoning up what buttons he had left before just undoing the useless things again. He then gave a little start as he reached into his pocket and found his bill from the restaurant, along with something else.
He held up the little triangle of bright pink fabric, realizing she had been serious. Her name and a kiss of deep beige lipstick with her number scrawled on the bottom of the bill.
"Whoa, Tripod! Whatcha got there brother?!"
Mac jumped, so surprised at the sudden sound he lost his focus and felt as the rain returned with a fury.
Mac looked up to see a small group of his family joining him, walking through the rain that wouldn't touch them. Lugh at their head, with his sister Brigantia just beside him, neither had been there long, but now caught him holding Mackenzie's panties mid-air.
Brigantia's eyes travelled to his hands, and what he held up, a deep scowl painting her usually pretty face.
"Really, Manannan Mac Lir, I expect such lechery from Aengus, but would have expected better of our Dagda."
Mac flushed and slipped his new treasure into his pocket before the others began to laugh.
He gave a quick cough and looked around, "Still waiting for a few I see."
Lugh just gave a hearty chuckle, "Not for a lack of trying, but they'll show up. Bus will be here soon for us all though. So our designated downer here played mother hen and pecked us over here to say farewell to you." He smiled and tugged at Mac's unbuttoned shirt, "Looks like someone said goodbye to you proper."
Brigantia jabbed Lugh in the ribs hard enough to make him fold over, but they both laughed. All of them did.
It was nice to see them this way, to see them at all was nice, even if it was only once a year.
"Thanks for coming to see me off, everyone."
"Of course, we await you till next year Mac," the farewell was cut short though as the chiming of dozens of watches sounded out through the night.
Like a haze had washed them away, Mac was left alone in an instant as a glare of lights washed over him, and an old city bus pulled into the stop.
He didn't even have to look, he just stepped up and on as the doors opened, past the driver and took a seat next to an orange tabby cat that was sitting in the first seat.
He would be back.
"No sitting at a bus station alone next year. Nope, next year I'm going to call her and… Huh? I don't have a phone though."
"Really? Oh, you need to get with the times," the orange tabby suddenly said, "I have dozens of followers on ClocTalk."
Mac looked down at the tabby, Jim on his collar, "Thanks, but, where do I get one in the Edge?"
"Let Jim tell you a thing or two."
